Glitter is a material that symbolises joy, celebration, carnival and children's crafts. Glitter seems to spread everywhere; it is a challenge to remove it once it is scattered. Since autumn 2023, the EU's microplastics ban also includes glitter. Existing glitter stocks can be sold, but no new ones may be produced. The video explores the material glitter, the joy it brings with its sparkle and the visual effects it creates in the video.
