A "prompt" is a specific instruction for AI programmes to achieve a certain result. My work focuses on the use of prompts in visual AI programmes such as Midnight Journey and DALL-E. These technologies lead to specific forms of linguistic expression to communicate with the programmes. Since theoretically any image can be created by a corresponding verbal command, language currently plays a crucial role in the creation of images. However, there are strict guidelines set by the software companies that dictate what can and cannot be displayed.
